Acceptable Use Policy
What you may not generate with Hotel Lobby Video, how we check content, how to report a violation, and what we do about one.
Last updated: 8 October 2026
Hotel Lobby Video turns two photos into one short AI-generated video. This policy covers the photos you upload, the videos we generate for you, and how you use both. It applies to every account, and it is part of our Terms of Service.
Content we prohibit
We prohibit six categories of content. Uploading a photo in any of them, or using a generated video in any of them, is a violation.
- Sexual and NSFW content. Nudity, underwear, sexual acts, or any sexual or fetish imagery.
- Violence and gore. Blood, injuries, dead bodies, or weapons — including a photo of someone holding a firearm or a bladed weapon.
- Hate speech and hate symbols. Content that attacks or demeans people for their race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender or sexual orientation, and hate symbols themselves.
- Child sexual abuse material and any sexual content involving minors. We do not accept photos of anyone under 18 at all, in any context. Content in this category is reported to the relevant authorities.
- Deepfakes and impersonation. Non-consensual likenesses, and photos of a public figure, celebrity or politician. Every person in a photo you upload must have agreed to appear in an AI-generated video.
- Copyright and trademark infringement. Copyrighted characters, logos, artwork or footage that you do not own or have permission to use.
Also prohibited: presenting a generated video as a real recording of real events; using the service to harass, defraud or mislead anyone; and trying to work around the checks described below.
How we review content
- The photos you upload. Every upload is checked before it is stored. One model confirms that the photo shows a person; a second classifies it for safety against the six categories above. A photo that fails either check is refused, is never stored, and is never charged for.
- Text prompts. This product has no free-text prompt. You pick one of four scene presets, so there is no prompt of yours for us to filter.
- The generated video. Before a finished video is handed to you, we take a frame out of the middle of it and classify that frame the same way. A video that fails is withheld and the credits for that job are returned to your balance. The withheld video is never delivered and never stored.
- Reports. A person reviews every report we receive.
- Logs. Every automated decision is recorded, including the model's own answer, so we can tell a correct refusal from an incorrect one.
Both classifiers run on Cloudflare Workers AI. The video model we generate with is named on our About page.
We do not use your photos to train models. Uploaded photos are deleted within 24 hours and generated videos within 30 days.
What we do about a violation
Depending on what we find, we can and do:
- refuse or delete the content (the automated checks refuse it outright);
- reset or remove the credits that came from the violating content;
- warn the account, or suspend it while we review it;
- permanently ban the account;
- report illegal content — child sexual abuse material or a credible threat — to law enforcement.
We aim to be proportionate: a first, minor, clearly accidental violation gets a warning and a removed video; content in the zero-tolerance categories in clause 4 and the last bullet of the list above ends the account.
How to report a violation
Email hello@hotellobby.one. Include the video or job reference shown in your account, or a link to the content, and tell us what is wrong with it.
- We acknowledge reports within 2 business days and tell you the outcome.
- We keep the identity of a reporter confidential.
- Filing a report you know to be false, or using reports to target someone, is itself a violation of this policy.
Appeals
If you believe a refusal or a suspension was wrong, reply to the same address within 30 days and say so. A person who was not involved in the original decision reviews it and answers you.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we post the updated version here and update the date at the top. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
